Is ‘Grimm’ season 5, episode 7 new tonight on NBC? More about Eve

“Grimm” season 5 has certainly reveled in some inconsistency, hasn’t it? There have not been that many weeks of consecutive new episodes, and now the NBC show is off the air until Friday, January 29. (If you did not hear, the show was delayed a week from its previously-scheduled return date.)

Translation: There is no new episode on NBC tonight. Like the majority of the other broadcast networks right now, the peacock is now preparing for the holiday season, and there’s not going to be much in the way of new episodes for any show until you get around to January 3. The only real exceptions are over on cable.

Since we don’t want to leave you completely empty-handed in this story, why not at least give you a detail or two more regarding the show’s big cliffhanger at the moment? We’re of course speaking of the return of Bitsie Tulloch to the show, but not in the role of Juliette. Instead, she’s now Eve, a woman who has many of Juliette’s memories, but is far from the woman who Nick used to know so well.

As for how Tulloch (who hit the gym heavily to prepare for this much more physical role) describes the character, she told the following to TVLine:

“She is very badass, and she’s almost robotic… It’s not so much that she’s ruthless, it’s that she’s very calculated and all she’s focused on is getting the job done.”

Given that she is a regular on the show still, you can expect to see a lot of her moving forward.
