‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 3, episode 11 preview: When will Clark Gregg, cast return?
For everyone who enjoys Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD,” the hard part now begins. After what was one of the craziest midseason finales known to mankind, the show will now be off the air for roughly three months. That’s a long wait! Sure, you’ve got “Agent Carter” to help tide you over, but in many ways these two shows are very different animals.
We don’t want to beat around the bush here, so let’s just go ahead and pass along some of the details you need to know. The second part of season 3 will premiere on Tuesday, March 8, but unfortunately we are still too far away to really have too much in the way of concrete details. Those will probably come at some point in February, when we are much closer to the episode airing and we are able to more accurately make some predictions.
As for what we hope that the second half of the season touches on, making the latest permutation of Grant Ward something worthwhile has to remain the priority. At the end of the midseason finale we learned that this character, despite what we saw on Maveth, was not actually dead … at least to a certain extent. Coulson did kill him, but the big twist is that Ward seems to be the new host for the creature on the other side of the world. Malick saw precisely what had transpired through his eyes, and realized to a great extent just what sort of trouble he, and everyone, would be in moving forward.
We’re going to have some further news throughout this hiatus, so be on the lookout for more scoop!
