‘Scream Queens’ finale spoilers: A killer reveal and much more!

For everyone who has been watching “Scream Queens” rather obsessively since the beginning of the season, be prepared for some big things next week. Season 1 is coming to a close, and with that we’re going to finally learn just who is the architect behind everything. Sure, it’s easy to look at Pete as the Red Devil after tonight, and Dean Munsch is obviously a contender based on everything brewing between her and Chanel.

Yet, these all could be ways to trip us up as viewers going into the last two episodes. The two-hour event coming up will provide plenty of answers and then some, and we imagine could even set the stage for a potential second season. The synopsis below, unfortunately, does not reveal much:

“Shocking confessions are made as the Red Devil is finally unmasked and the killer revealed.”

As for what a second season of the show could entail, it was said earlier in the season that unlike “American Horror Story,” things would continue on for some of these characters in a new setting. The question here for the most part is simply which characters are going to be able to make it to that point, and which ones does the show want to use again. (To be fair, though, we’re not entirely sure that “Scream Queens” will get a second season; while it may be popular internationally and has a very young viewership, the ratings as a whole have not been good. As a result of that, it’s been one of the bigger letdowns over the fall season in terms of commercial success.)
