‘Girl Meets World’ season 2, episode 23 video: Maya’s dad arrives on the scene

“Girl Meets World” season 2 has been off the air now for several weeks, but come Friday night, “Girl Meets the Forgiveness Project” will be on the air!

The Disney Channel released their first preview for the episode this weekend, and for the first fifteen seconds or so, you may think that this is pure filler and nothing else. However, it is at this point that things start to change up primarily because of one key reveal: Maya’s father is on the scene. Sabrina Carpenter typically gets the chance on this show to play someone with the luxury to really do or say whatever she want without having to face a wide bevy of consequences for it … at least long-term. She’s one of the bigger free spirits among the young characters, and there are many reasons why many fans relate to her in particular.

However, the preview certainly suggests that her father brings with him a disarming presence, and it will be interesting to get some more information about who he is and precisely why he is not around. Getting know him will help in turn to start to get to know Maya all the better, and start to understand even more why she is the way that she is.

Of course, this is still a comedy! Therefore, we imagine that there will be a variety of funny moments, and for the most part we think that some of them will come from Maya.
