‘Grimm’ season 5, episode 2 preview: ‘Clear and Wesen Danger’

Where are we going moving forward on “Grimm” the rest of this season? The show did a little something different after Friday night’s season premiere. Typically, what we see on the show more often than not is a promo strictly for what is coming up in a week’s time, but we understand the logic of doing it this way after watching the promo. After all, isn’t it so much more exciting if you want to see the show’s path over the course of the next several weeks? There’s no doubt that this video is particularly thrilling, and it gives us a great sense that there is a lot to look forward to even after an eventful premiere.

In the first episode, we saw Nick welcome his child with Adalind, but moving into next week’s “Clear and Wesen Danger,” it is very much apparent that this is just the tip of the iceberg for what we are going to end up seeing this character conquer. He has to now figure out a way to ensure that his child and Adalind safe from all of the obvious threats in this world, and there is another case that needs to be tackled as well.

The synopsis below offers up a few more specifics:

“On the heels of becoming a new father, Nick (David Giuntoli) must make some major changes to keep his child and Adalind (Claire Coffee) safe. Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner) step in to help prepare for the new addition. Meanwhile, Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz) assigns Hank (Russell Hornsby) a new partner as they investigate a brutal murder at an investment group.”
