‘Dancing with the Stars 21’ spoilers: Hayes Grier, Carlos and Alexa PenaVega set for team dances

Monday night’s new episode of “Dancing with the Stars” is going to have a fairly simple theme this time around, and that is celebrating the spirit of October 31. It’s Halloween time! The remaining contestants will do individual routines with a sort of spooky spirit behind them, but none of the song choices are so memorable that they are worth an individual article to discuss them.

What we will share for the time being are the groupings for the big team dance that will be happening presumably near the end of Monday’s episode, where four dancers / pros will perform together in a way that you’ve seen so many times before. They each have their own group names, and to go along with that they’ve got a specific song choice.

Team Nightmare – Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess (Captains), Tamar Braxton and Val Chmerkovskiy, Andy Grammer and Allison Holker, and Hayes Grier and Emma Slater.

Team Who You Gonna Call – Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough (Captains), Alexa PenaVega and Mark Ballas, Carlos PenaVega and Witney Carson, and Alek Skarlatos and Lindsay Arnold.

Here’s the funny thing: Usually we can tell beforehand which team is going to be far and away better than the other. We really cannot here, mostly because these two are just about the same. Heck, almost all of the top eight are pretty evenly matched. They’ve all done great routines, and with that we have almost no idea what the voters are going to do leading into this show.
