‘The Leftovers’ season 2, episode 4 preview: Justin Theroux, Carrie Coon return in ‘Orange Sticker’

Leftovers -Tonight, “The Leftovers” on HBO continued a recent trend for it, and that is moving across a variety of different storytelling planes. We saw more of the story of Laurie, and this time around, we actually got to hear her words on a consistent basis. This was fascinating, thought-provoking stuff, and it gave us more excitement in terms of what to look forward to here.

For those of you who do like Laurie and the show’s meta-commentary on the first season in the form of her book, you’re going to be waiting for a while. She does not appear to be turning up in the next episode, but the synopsis below makes it very clear that you are going to get a chance to see Kevin Garvey, Nora Durst, and some of these oh-so-familiar characters all over again. You’ll get a further opportunity to see what happened in the midst of seeing Evie getting sucked into the earth. We know that this is probably not what happened literally, but this is a metaphorical explanation for what happened.

If you have not see the synopsis for this episode just yet, take a look at it below:

“In the midst of an earthquake, Nora awakens to find Kevin missing and her hopes of safety in their new town dashed. The Murphys are left reeling after Evie’s disappearance. Kevin returns home, but without his memory of the night before or his cell phone, which would link him to the missing girls. Meanwhile, an old enemy makes her return in an unexpected way.”
