‘Supernatural’ season 11 star Misha Collins ‘totally fine’ after injury in Minneapolis

CastielFor a short period of time there was reason for “Supernatural” fans to worry about one of the show’s stars in Misha Collins, but luckily, all now seems to be okay.

The precise details of what exactly happened to Collins are not entirely clear. He spent this weekend in Minneapolis for a fan convention, but prior to a panel, he was reportedly injured in some capacity late Friday night. There are reports out there saying that he was mugged, stemming from a post on Hollywood Take that was uncovered from a now-deleted message by his co-star Jim Beaver. Collins was unable to attend the panel the next day, but in a true show of kindness to his fans, he did still appear for the autograph signing and photo session, tilting his injuries away from camera or covering them up with a Funko action figure as they were taken.

Collins eventually wrote on his Twitter that he’s “totally fine,” and the injuries appear to be minor. This ultimately just means some recovery time for him, and probably a little bit of extra time in the makeup chair since filming is currently underway for season 11. The new season premieres on The CW come Wednesday, October 7, and we’ll have more news on that in the future. At the moment, there’s really not that much to even report when it comes to Castiel’s story thanks to the Darkness and the cliffhanger that came at the end of season 10.

For now, let’s just be happy that Collins is doing fine, and that he has such a huge fan following supporting him at every turn.
