‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6 spoilers: About the summer finale ‘Game Over, Charles’…

castPretty Little Liars” fans, prepare to brace yourselves now: The big “A” reveal you have long wanted to see is finally just about upon us.

Remember how the premiere episode of season 6 was entitled “Game On, Charles”? Well, we now come bearing the news that the season 6 summer finale is entitled “Game Over, Charles,” and just as you have been hearing, this is the episode that will change the entire fabric of the show. “A” will be seemingly unmasked, and for the first time since really the start of the show, Aria, Emily, Spencer, and Hanna may have a little bit of peace. They at least have enough to move forward in their lives, hence the massive time jump that the series is going on between season 5A and 5B. Clearly, the show feels comfortable enough making this move thanks mostly to the strength of the story that they have, and the mystery that surrounds what could be tormenting them so many years later.

Just in case you did need some sort of extra vindication that the network is really planning something crazy for this episode, the fact that they are only releasing the following as a synopsis should be your proof: “The PLL’s come face-to-face with A and learn how and why they were targeted for A’s torment.” Clearly, they don’t want to give anything away just yet.

We are going to stop ourselves from saying just yet that the “A” that is captured in “Game Over, Charles” is the real “A” just yet, mostly because we have been tricked so many times before into thinking that we had it all figured out. Still, we’d really like for it to be. There would be something intriguing about seeing throughout the rest of season 6 and then season 7 how the story operates with us actually being in on who the villain is, and potentially even why they are acting in the way that they are.
