Is Claudia Jordan done with ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’?

Well, that apparently did not take long at all! Just a matter of a season after joining “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” TMZ is now reporting that Claudia Jordan is officially done with the show. As for the reasoning why, much of it can be traced back to one person more so than anyone else: NeNe Leakes. Specifically, NeNe and Claudia clashed repeatedly on the show, and while Kenya Moore is an adversary to Leakes in many ways, she has also earned her place this season.

In some ways, we are surprised to see Claudia go so soon, since her story about being somewhat new in Atlanta allowed for there to be a different introduction to the world of the show than what we receive from any of the other women in the cast. Then again, this may just also go to show you yet again that there are some priorities that the Bravo series makes, and trying to satisfy their highest-paid star is one of them.

NeNe has repeatedly stressed that there is ambiguity regarding her future on the show, and maybe producers are doing what they can to ensure that they can get her to stick around for a little while longer. In the end, we feel like it’s almost a certainty. Most Housewives benefit heavily from doing the show. Sure, there are some disadvantages like dealing with a wide array of conflict, but at the same time this provides an incredible opportunity to do some fun stuff that you probably would not get much of a chance to really do otherwise.

The new season should premiere later this year on Bravo. The interesting part of this story is that it is coming out not long after Brandi Glanville’s own reported dismissal from the Beverly Hills series.
