‘Game of Thrones’ season 6 casting begins (more season 5 is finished airing)

Game of Thrones -Even though we do still have three more weeks to go before the fifth season of “Game of Thrones” comes to a close, is it ever too early to start getting some news on next season? One of the reasons for this is just because of the year-round nature of this show. Since it films in the summer, scripts need to be written at around the time that the season beforehand is airing.

Therefore, you cannot be too shocked to hear that the series is actually already in the casting process on the next batch of all-new episodes. Per a new report coming in from Watchers on the Wall, there are a variety of different parts currently being cast, with some of them familiar to longtime book readers. How is that possible, since the show will technically be ahead of where the books are in season 6? We imagine that a part of it is simply that the series is waiting to introduce some characters until they need them, in comparison to wherever the books decided to get them out there.

Of course, we still should go ahead and note that it is still possible that George R.R. Martin has out the next book The Winds of Winter out before season 6 premieres, but he has not set a firm date for that just yet.

Ultimately, it seems like it is going to be full steam ahead for the show regardless of where Martin is with his series, and if you want to read the books first, you may just have to delay viewing the show for a while.
