‘Finding Carter’ season 2, episode 9 preview: What comes after Lori shocker

Tonight, “Finding Carter” delivered on yet another episode full of surprises and emotional moments. This is a show that never shies away from ripping out your heart, and introducing new dimensions to people who you may have written off or thought about conclusively one way or the other. Seeing Madison’s return and the aftermath of it definitely made some interesting television.

Next week, we’re going to be the characters hit the road … or at least when it comes to Max and Carter following the real shocker of tonight’s episode: The news that Lori tried to commit suicide. This could prompt Carter to travel all the way to see her, or at least contemplate the idea for a while. Despite her being a captor, there is still an attachment there that is hard to ignore.

For the time being, the nature of this “drama at home” is actually somewhat of an unknown, given that we have just seen one of the happier stories in terms of home life in quite a while. After all, Elizabeth and David stayed in the same home, Grant returned, and there was a birthday celebration. Maybe the news about Lori changes everything, but it is for now unclear.
