‘Suits’ season 5 spoilers: Charles Barkley to make cameo appearance

What's next -If the goal of “Suits” was to surprise us with the news of Charles Barkley making a cameo, then they have certainly succeeded. The former NBA icon and TNT analyst is set to guest star at some point during the upcoming fifth season, playing a character he should know very well at this point in himself. He is a longtime client of Pearson Specter Litt, and he ends up helping Harvey come together with another partner.

We wonder already how this came about, and maybe it is something similar to how Michael Phelps came to be on the show. There’s always a benefit to having famous fans, especially when you can use these same people to help increase your outreach to a certain extent. This is USA’s most-popular show these days, but it still does not get nearly the attention nor the recognition it deserves.

To go along with the news of the Barkley cameo, USA also unveiled today their first look at the June 24 premiere. Take a look below:

“Harvey (Gabriel Macht) has difficulty adjusting to changes around the office, which affects his ability to do his work. Donna (Sarah Rafferty) must acclimate to working for Louis (Rick Hoffman), who’s certain it’s only a matter of time before she returns to Harvey. Mike (SAG Award Nominee, Patrick J. Adams) and Rachel (Meghan Markle) must decide how and when to share their big news, but their excitement about their future together will take a back seat to Harvey and Mike’s latest case. And an up-and-coming partner makes his presence known to Jessica (Gina Torres) , confronting her about whether Harvey’s way of doing business is beneficial to the firm.”
