‘Shark Tank’ review: You Kick Ass, ZOOM Interiors, Sunscreen Mist, SynDaver Labs

The latest -Shark Tank” tonight is definitely featured a wide array of products; we don’t think an episode can get any more random when you have everything from interior design to sunscreen to action figures to fake cadavers all in the span of an episode! Entertainment wise, that also gives us high hopes that the products are going to deliver … or at least lead to some great debates with Mr. Wonderful and company. It better, given that there are only two installments left on the season as a whole.

As with many other “Shark Tank” reviews, we are doing this particular article live! Therefore, be sure to refresh the page early and often to get some other information about the show. We’ve also included links for all of the products featured below.

ZOOM Interiors – It’s almost a do-it-yourself interior design with some help over the world wide web. They give you the strategy, and then tell you a little bit more as to how to implement. They’ve done a lot in a short amount of time, but still a ways to go. With the right investor, they could be taken down the right road and with the right person. Barbara Corcoran is the right move here; she knows a lot at least about real estate, and probably has plenty of contacts and people who can help them further.

Sunscreen Mist – Will this innovate sunblock? It’s not a bad idea, but the demonstration was a little off, and the entire presentation was a hot mess with information all over the place. We get this product is useful, but it felt like the guys pitching tried far too hard to make a point, and instead this was completely disjointed. No deal here.

SynDaver Labs – We’re still surprised synthetic cadavers are on the show. Still, it’s a cool product that will actually reduce animal and real cadaver testing, and while the creator’s approach here seems to be science first and sales second, we actually don’t mind that as much when you have someone that is so upfront and honest. Robert Herjavec is taking a risk here, but we do feel like it is one worth taking.

You Kick Ass – Want your own action figure? This is a really cool idea. We do agree that the models that were given to the sharks were not exactly great, but with the right improvements this could be AWESOME. The fact that Mark Cuban gave them exactly what they asked for should show what the value here could be if the kinks are worked out.
