‘Criminal Minds’ season 10 finale spoilers: Jennifer Love Hewitt, AJ Cook, more talk finale story

Criminal Minds -Tonight marks the big tenth-season finale for “Criminal Minds,” and what we feel like is ultimately going to come out of this is a chance to really start to see more of how Kate Callahan responds to crisis, and also what the team is going to be willing to do in order to protect her own.

This has been in many ways a season of change, and that can be interpreted in both good and bad ways. As executive producer Erica Messer tells us in the sneak preview below, the good news that comes as a part of Kate’s arrival is that she is so effective at her job. However, at the same time the negative part of this is that there is a villain who has followed in her stead, and now, they have captured Kate’s niece Meg. This is a challenge that pushes her colleagues more than they have been pushed yet. Both Jennifer Love Hewitt and AJ Cook each talk about their characters’ stories in this video, and it seems like JJ will be front and center in her attempts to be a hero.

Going into the eleventh season, there are going to be many questions. When will it premiere, and are you going to need to write out both Cook and Hewitt for a time in order to accommodate maternity leave? That is something that at least has to be considered. Hopefully, some more information will be revealed at the upcoming CBS upfront presentation.

We’ll have a full review of the finale tomorrow night, so be on the lookout for that.
