‘Game of Thrones’ season 5, episode 5 preview: The Emilia Clarke – Sophie Turner stories in ‘Kill the Boy’

Game of Thrones -Tonight, “Game of Thrones” aired an episode that was at times predictable, but in other moments shocking. After all, we did lose a pair of reasonably important characters in Ser Barristan and also Grey Worm in Meereen. These were two of the biggest supporters of Danaerys, and if there is one thing that she probably needs at the moment, it is probably a little bit of help.

This is what she could potentially have on “Kill the Boy,” which is the next new installment of the series airing on Sunday, May 10. Emilia Clarke will have potentially quite a bit of material, especially in the event that Ser Jorah and Tyrion arrive on the scene. You’re also going to see hopefully more of Sansa being awesome, and also some characters who were not in the episode tonight. Take a look at the synopsis below, at least if you have not seen it already:

“Dany (Emilia Clarke) makes a difficult decision in Meereen. Jon (Kit Harington) recruits the help of an unexpected ally. Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) searches for Sansa (Sophie Turner). Theon (Alfie Allen) remains under Ramsay’s (Iwan Rheon) control.”

So who is the “unexpected ally”? Could it be Roose Bolton of all people? We saw Jon looking for more recruits at the Wall after this past installment, and almost anything could be possible there.

Now, we must offer up what is both the saddest and the scariest reminder at the moment: After this episode airs, we will already be at the halfway point of this season. Ultimately, we are confident that there is not a series that goes by faster than this one does.
