‘The Walking Dead’ season 6 spoilers: What lies ahead for Rick and Morgan?

More news -While it is still far too early to really speculate in full about the future of “The Walking Dead,” we at least do know at the moment that the upcoming sixth season is going to give you quite a bit of two characters in particular: Rick and Morgan. Andrew Lincoln and Lennie James’ characters were hugely important to the foundation of the series so long ago, but since that time, Morgan in particular has been put a little bit more in the backseat.

Could that be changing now that we are moving into season 6? Now that they are back together and Morgan has become somewhat of a pacifist, it is fair to say that you are going to see an extremely different dynamic between these two people play out. For more on that, just take a look at what executive producer / comic writer Robert Kirkman said recently (per TheWrap) while at the 2015 National Association of Broadcasters Show:

“Now it’s a very different Rick and a very different Morgan who are going to have a completely different relationship … And it’s the questions of how they’re going to interact, how they’re going to work together — if they’re going to work together — and what comes from those interactions is going to be basically the spine of season six.”

What will be the biggest threat that these two end up facing? We know already that the Wolves are going to be an integral part of the new season, but in addition to that, the walker threat in particular could rise to the surface as the primary threat again. For most of this past season, the biggest threats were more human. First, it was dealing with Terminus and Gareth; then, it was Grady Hospital. By the time the end of the season was over, Rick and the survivors were in many ways their own worst enemies.
