ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4, episode 20 preview: Emily VanCamp, Madeleine Stowe’s story in ‘Burn’
Let’s face it: Sunday night’s new episode of “Revenge” was not exactly the most eventful in the world. That is what happens when you have a story that is by and large a clip show, and when it is not, the majority of the conversations take place on small stages. “Exposure” was a cheap episode added beyond the initial 22, but there was at least enough in here to justify this being something more than your ordinary clip show.
When the show returns next week with “Burn,” you will see something that is much more befitting a standard episode of “Revenge.” there will be a bevy of scheming, and more than that Victoria Grayson’s life may be in jeopardy. While the synopsis below is short, it is definitely more than informative:
“After Victoria is attacked, she takes matters into her own hands, while Emily is forced to come to terms with what she really wants.”
As for where this story is ultimately going long-term, it does not feel even remotely like an exaggeration to say that we could be visiting some dark corners very soon. The title for the finale is “Two Graves,” and there may only be a handful of episodes left in the series.
We have other articles about the future of “Revenge,” though, so let’s focus here on something simple: Emily vs. Victoria. That is probably going to be at the core of all of the stories that remain.
