ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4, episode 19 preview: Kerry Washington, Joe Morton face off

The first thing that we have to say about the next new episode of “Scandal” is rather simple: We totally love the title for the next new episode: “I’m Just a Bill.” Anytime that a show in the present can pay homage to the glory that is “Schoolhouse Rock,” we are going to jump up and down in celebration.

As for what you can expect to see when this particular story airs, that is still a relative mystery beyond what ABC gave us Thursday night. There has not been an official synopsis released for this episode yet. The promo that came tonight mostly hyped up one thing and one thing only: The return of Papa Pope! Joe Morton is back in business, and as Jake tries to destroy him once and for all, he will do what he can in order to render that impossible. That includes make every part of Olivia’s personal life hell, and that includes potentially tearing her away from Fitz for good.

As we close this particular article, here’s a quick note on episode titles, as ABC is doing something a little bit different with them this season: Rather than giving each installment a specific number, we’ve seen some episodes be paired with another, with an “A” and “B” next to their name. Therefore, some sites may be listing “I’m Just a Bill” as episode 17. We’re not doing that, mostly because we like to be pretty uniform with episode numbers across the board.
