‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11, episode 17 preview: ‘With or Without You’ continues Meredith / Derek story
If you remember back to before this season of “Grey’s Anatomy” season premiered, we heard constant teases from show creator Shonda Rhimes that this was going to be the “season of Meredith.” After seeing the past few weeks, we certainly believe that. “With or Without You” is the title for the next new episode, and that alone should make you a little bit anxious for what is coming next for Ellen Pompeo’s character … especially when it comes to her relationship with Derek.
Want to see some of the first details right now? Take a look at the synopsis below via ABC, which also gives us a few little teases in regards to what is coming up for Owen:
“Meredith, rattled by the latest events, tries to figure out what to do about Derek. Meanwhile, Owen is shocked when his mother is admitted to the hospital.”
The big news based on the attached promo below is that the “truth will be revealed” … though it of course may take some time for all of it to unravel. The truth they are talking about is pretty simple: Did Derek cheat on his wife while in Washington with another doctor? He has come home to speak to her about what happened, and said that the two of them are “in trouble.”
What we should say here is that the promo below does not actually feature Derek kissing the other woman, but the implication is there that there is a part of him that wants to, and may have stopped at the last second.
