‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: Kaitlyn Bristowe – Britt Nilsson decision looms

While the premiere of “The Bachelorette” will air on ABC in May, the series just started filming last night at the famed mansion. The twist? There were two women leading the charge rather than just one, and that made matters all the more interesting (not to mention controversial).

So was either Kaitlyn Bristowe or Britt Nilsson picked as the leading lady last night? Not according to the Twitter of show creator Mike Fleiss, who seemed to suggest that the guys will probably decide today who they want to date on the show the rest of the season. This confirms that this twist is exactly the same as what there was on “The Bachelor” many years ago, and that we’re going to have to deal with the same exact sort of drama that we had back then. Previously, it was not 100% confirmed that the guys were going to be deciding.

The only thing that we are really hoping for is that this isn’t a situation where the guys are being forced to decide right now, prior to them getting some sort of sleep. The first night is stuffed full of heavy drinking, awkward conversations, and so much more. It’s a very hard night for anyone to get through, and by the end of it, we’re not sure that anyone is thinking clearly. The Bachelor and the Bachelorette have at least been through it before, so they are a little more qualified to make proper decisions.

Hopefully, ABC will just go ahead and confirm who the next star of the show is after all of this happens. It’s going to be heavily spoiled, and we don’t really want to go through the entire waiting period pretending like there’s some ambiguity. We tend to shy away from sharing many spoilers that are not authorized in some way.
