‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 6, episode 18 preview: Deeks and Kensi realize the truth
Let’s start off this “NCIS: Los Angeles” article with what is clearly the bad news: There is no new episode of the show airing on CBS next week. However, there will be another installment coming on March 23, and based on what we know at this very moment, it’s going to be a huge one for Deeks and Kensi as they start to realize something: There is really no point in hiding that they are together anymore.
So what happens as a result of this big reveal? The answer is really rather simple: Complications. Office romances sometimes are not an issue, but for an NCIS team, they could be. Your feelings for someone else could complicate the mission, since it could cause you to think more about protecting someone else than it could about fulfilling your duty.
With that in mind, this upcoming episode entitled “Fighting Shadows” should be interesting. The synopsis below gives you your first clear twist about what Hetty is going to do to Deeks and Kensi:
“When three FBI agents are killed in an explosion following a successful undercover sting operation, the team searches for the person behind the attack. Meanwhile, Deeks and Kensi realize the team knows about their relationship, as Hetty pairs Kensi with Sam and Deeks with Callen during the investigation.”
Ultimately, it feels like this should be a fairly fun episode of the show, even if there is still an action and dramatic part of the story. We cannot see Daniela Ruah and Eric Christian Olsen’s characters apart forever, and really this gives them an opportunity to just briefly work for some other people.
