‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: Is Captain Lance turning on Laurel, the Arrow?

Arrow -While we anticipate many “Arrow” withdrawals coming over the course of the upcoming hiatus, there is some good news: The CW wasted very little time offering up some of the first details about “The Offer,” which will air come March 18.

The episode should pick up not too far from where “Nanda Parbat” ended, at least in terms of Oliver relentlessly questioning just what happened to him there. Did Ra’s al Ghul really make him an offer to be his eventual replacement … and over Nyssa, no less? There are so many questions here, and trying to figure out what Ra’s true intentions are will be part of the fun. While we wouldn’t quite say that the rest of the episode is necessarily “fun” in terms of life for the characters, it should be entertaining for us to watch. Take a look at the synopsis below:

“Still weighed down by his last meeting with Ra’s al Ghul (guest star Matt Nable), Oliver (Stephen Amell) returns home to find a new villain and his crew have started terrorizing Starling City – Michael Amar AKA Murmur (guest star Adrian Glynn McMorran), a man whose mouth has been sewn shut. Meanwhile, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) and Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law) bond over their issues with their fathers and Nyssa make Laurel an offer. Thea (Willa Holland) is forced to come to terms with her father after Oliver brings Malcom (John Barrowman) to the loft to recover, and Lance (Paul Blackthorne) shuts out both Laurel and the Arrow.”

Clearly, we don’t want to discount what’s going on here with Captain Lance. That’s why it’s in the title! This is a man who has gone through a great tragedy, and it shouldn’t be that big of a surprise to anyone that he is forming an adversarial position to the Arrow given everything that he has gone through. Laurel, meanwhile, is a little more of a surprise.
