‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8: Nathan Fillion comes over from ‘Castle’ … as himself
How about this as some wonderful “Big Bang Theory” news for today? According to Entertainment Weekly, Nathan Fillion (“Firefly,” “Castle”) will guest-star in the upcoming February 19 episode of the comedy, and in a role that he is not that used to playing in a scripted environment: Himself.
The scene that will be set for the actor behind Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Raj (Kunal Nayyar) who will see him while dining out, and they will engage in a debate about whether or not they want to ask him for a photo. It should be interesting to see just how this story is handled, since typically, there should be an unwritten rule to not bother people, famous or not, while they are in the middle of eating. They spend so much of their day signing autographs and taking pictures already (especially Nathan, who goes to conventions often) that it is hard to really imagine him also wanting to do something like this while eating.
Well, we’ll get a chance to figure out soon just what the “Big Bang Theory” stance will be on this particular common issue in celebrity culture. If nothing else, it is very well possible that Leonard and Raj will do something so embarrassing that Fillion won’t really be that interested in taking said photo, but this is Nathan Fillion after all and he’s well known for being very accommodating to his fans.
There will be more new episodes airing throughout the month of February, and that means plenty more in the way of news to share! Stay tuned.
