‘NCIS’ season 12, episode 13 video: Jimmy Palmer’s new addition; a sad subtraction
Earlier today, we said that one of the reasons that an “NCIS” fan should be happy today is that even if there was not a new episode coming on the air, we were most-likely going to be getting a promo.
Now, we are pleased to report that said promo is here! This is the first official look from the network at “We Build, We Fight,” which is the 13th episode of the season airing in just a week’s time. There are two very different stories here, and they couldn’t be more different in terms of content and tone. On the positive side of things, for example, Jimmy Palmer is getting set to be a father! We’re finally going to be getting a good Brian Dietzen story, as many members of the NCIS family are going to help him celebrate.
Unfortunately, at the same time the likes of Gibbs, DiNozzo, and McGee are also going to be dealing with tragedy. Following the death of an openly-gay member of the Navy, someone who was set to receive the Medal of Freeman for his heroism, the team has to figure out if he was killed because of his sexuality or for a completely different reason. Justice is going to be a key component of this story, and as Gibbs explicitly states, no one within the team is going to rest until there is some sort of answer to what happened here.
As we’ve mentioned a few times now, this installment was directed by cast member Rocky Carroll, who plays Leon Vance. It’s going to be a nice chance to see how he handles such challenging and fascinating material.

This looks very compelling and quite touching. I’ll be anxious to see how it all pans out for the team and how well Rocky Carroll is at directing NCIS. :)

I’m very excited for this episode. I love when they touch complex and real life problems and bring them to the screen. Makes me proud to be a fan of this special show. I’m very sure that Rocky Carroll has done an amazing job, the promo looks very promising. And it also great to get another episode about Jimmy. I always enjoyed the episodes in which they touched his marriage and family wishes. And Breena is a cutie. So lovely to have her back. I hope that we will get more episode which will feature Ducky, Abby, Vance and Jimmy a bit more. 12 years in and I’m still getting excited over this show. It’s so wonderful.
