‘The Bachelor’ review: Ashley Iaconetti’s ‘virgin’ talk, Ashley Salter’s Chris Soules antics dominate
Monday night’s new episode of “The Bachelor” was all sorts of crazy, and it was also for the most part a tale of two Ashleys. First and foremost, we had Ashley Iaconetti. Did you know that she was a virgin? We had no idea! This woman talked time and time again about it, and after first going to Chris Soules’ tent for an awkward conversation about it, she ended up having to talk about it again. Ashley is a big character, but we wonder if she is a little too out-there for the competition.
Then, there is Ashley Salter, who may be the queen of out-there this season. She had her moments, but we’re shocked she made it this far.
Let’s also talk rose recipients. Is he giving too much love to Kaitlyn Bristowe? We’re starting to think so, given that she has dominated in this group-date environment as of late. Of course, Jade Roper also got some love for her Cinderella date, which was a little awkward since Ashley really wanted it and proceeded to wear her own fancy dress around for now reason.
There was no rose on the second group date, mostly because Jillian Anderson did not make the best of her situation. Despite managing to win the wedding-dress-race portion of the episode, she completely bombed at the date itself. She just doesn’t understand romance for this show.
The most interesting part of the end of the episode was seeing Britt Nilsson freak out slightly over Kaitlyn getting so many roses. She did still get a rose in the end, but not after some huge problems.
In the end, we lost Juelia (a particularly emotional exit), Ashley S., and Jillian as notable contestants. Still, most of the memorable faces are still there. We cannot say that we’re really loving Chris as a Bachelor, but at least there were some interesting dates this week! Grade: C+.

I am still liking Chris as The Bachelor. I am glad to ser Jillian leave because she talked too much, didn’t know anything about romance, and was too manly for Chris. Also, glad that Ashley S is gone because I not into crazy much and I am also not to keen on onions. I could have done without The Virgin Chronicles. TMI, Ashley I. It probably didn’t earn you many brownie points. Also, if you tell a man that you are a virgin, be proud of it, don’t cry about it and don’t tell the other girls about it. Finally, yes Britt got a rose, however, her frontrunner status might be in danger.

I was over Onion Ashley from pretty much the , so I wasn’t sad to see her go at all. I’m losing faith in Chris, some of the dates and all of the bikini, make outs is making it feel less like a romantic show for me. I hope they bring out more romance next week.
