‘Glee’ season 6, episode 5 preview: What’s next for Lea Michele, Chord Overstreet, rest of cast?

The wait begins -Tonight’s new episode of “Glee” entitled “The Hurt Locker: Part I” was certainly strange. It was basically an hour-long Sue Sylvester rant, with all sorts of drama from start to finish. The biggest surprise was probably the writers placing Sam and Rachel in a position where they kissed, mostly because of Chord Overstreet’s character being hypnotized to try to take down the glee club completely.

Well, she is not over anything just yet. We’re going to see so much more drama in part II, though at the same time, a whole lot more when it comes to characters who did not get much time tonight. Just take a look at the synopsis below:

“Sue is at it again, trying to mend relationships that she thinks need mending. Meanwhile, Kitty helps Rachel find the perfect set list to win the invitational and Sam recruits football player Spencer to join the glee club.”

Obviously, Rachel is is an extremely desperate position now courtesy of what she saw at the invitational tonight. Basically, Will decided to go seemingly all out in an effort to crush the competition, and show that his team was the one to beat after Sam dropped some “intel” that was yet another Sue plant.

We just hope that the next installment focuses more on the story and the characters, and not so much on the cheap gimmicks that really don’t matter so much to setting up the endgame of the show.
