‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4, episode 12 preview: Return date, and who is the author?

Well, where is “Once Upon a Time” going to go from here? Tonight’s episode was a heck of an intense story, and one with many cliffhangers. Unfortunately, you are going to have to wait until March 1 in order to see what is next.

Based on what we did see at the end of the winter finale Sunday night, there is one question you really need to be asking above all else: Who is the author? This is the person responsible for penning the storybook, and therefore the person who all villains want to see. Maybe they can turn around their fate somehow, and all hope will not be lost on them.

Unfortunately for Rumple, one thing that he does need to worry about is that there are others out there who seem to have some sort of a head start on him, based on the end of what we saw tonight.

Basically, the promo below chooses to hype up further some of the stories that lie ahead for the Queens of Darkness. Ursula, Maleficent, and Cruella de Vil are going to be back on the scene in some way, and we have to figure out just what sort of carnage they are going to pour onto Storybrooke. Their motivation here seems to be ultimately very simple, and that is doing everything that they can in order to ensure that they get happy endings for a change rather than some of the main characters.

Sadly, it’s a very long wait until then.
