‘The Following’ season 3, ‘Bones’ season 10 return dates, ‘Backstrom’ premiere revealed by Fox
Want to know when some of your favorite Fox shows are coming back? The network announced some of their midseason plans today, but in some cases, it appears already that you are going to be waiting for a while.
Let’s start off with “The Following,” which is making you wait until Monday, March 2 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern, when it will kick off with a two-hour episode. That is a long time to wait, and it is also going to have some enormous competition on other networks at this time to boot with “The Voice” and the end of “The Bachelor” on other networks.
As for some other updates.
“Bones” – For some reason, Fox is making you wait until Thursday, March 26 for new episodes after the 200th. We love the show, and while we’re probably going to get new installments weekly the rest of the way, that’s a long wait.
“Backstrom” – The Rainn Wilson series, from the same producers as “Bones,” will officially launch come Thursday, January 22 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time. It may have some help due to “American Idol” as a lead-in.
“MasterChef Junior” – There is another season of this show airing in the spring, and that will premiere come Tuesday, January 6. We’re worrying about Fox over-using this brand in an attempt to get ratings up.
“Hell’s Kitchen” – They’ve been doing that for years for this show. The new season starts up come Tuesday, March 3 at 8:00, after “MasterChef Junior” comes to an end.
As we reported earlier, “Glee” is going to air its final season on Fridays, which hardly gives us hope that the show will end with big ratings.
