‘Arrow’ season 3, episode 4 preview: First photo of Katrina Law in ‘The Magician’

“Arrow” fans, the wait to see Ra’s al Ghul is not much longer! Unfortunately, The CW is being rather possessive right now when it comes to footage of the character.

Instead, the majority of the photos released at the moment for Wednesday night’s new installment “The Magician” are similar to the one that we’ve posted here. They are choosing to highlight for the most part the return of Katrina Law to the show as Nyssa, which we do understand for a number of different reasons. For one, she’s badass. Also, she’s a connection to Ra’s that can be used to promote the episode without actually showing Ra’s.

As for why she is around now, suffice it to say that there will be tension between her and Oliver Queen over the death of Sara Lance. Also, she may be the one to deliver to Oliver the not-so-shocking news that Malcolm Merlyn is still alive. The only crazy thing is that Thea never bothered to actually clue her brother in last week to the fact that the guy who tried to blow up the Glades is actually still alive.

Don’t expect this to be anywhere near the end for the Ra’s story. While Matt Nable’s specific status in many upcoming episodes is still in the air, he should be around for a good chunk of season 3. After all, he’s #1 on the suspect list for Sara Lance murderers, he has a past with Malcolm, and he’s well-known. Other than the fact that he’s known mostly for Batman and not the Green Arrow, we don’t know what else you could possibly want.
