‘Arrow’ season 3, episode 4 preview: Will Ra’s al Ghul dominate ‘The Magician’?

Arrow -From the moment that you first heard that Ra’s al Ghul was going to be gracing the screen on “Arrow” season 3, we were excited. Now that we’ve seen the story progress, we are even more so.

Not only will “The Magician” focus a good bit on Matt Nable’s character and the big bad for this season, but you’re also going to have the return of Katrina Law as Nyssa al Ghul. She is going to be very much struggling with the loss of Sara, and this could lead to some intense conversations between herself and Oliver Queen.

Take a look at the official synopsis below for some more information in terms of what to expect:

“A furious Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law) confronts Oliver (Stephen Amell) about Sara. When Oliver learns Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) is alive, he suspects Merlyn killed Sara. Oliver and Nyssa join forces and go after the Dark Archer, intent on bringing Sara’s killer to justice. Laurel (Katie Cassidy) keeps her distance from Nyssa, as she blames her sister’s death on her involvement with the League of Assassins. Meanwhile, Oliver and Roy (Colton Haynes) work on repairing their respective relationships with Thea (Willa Holland), who has returned home. Nyssa discusses Oliver with her father, Ra’s al Ghul (guest star Matt Nable).”

We’re excited for this episode, and really for more reasons that we can put into a single article. The biggest thing is seeing long-term what the show hopes to do with Ra’s. You cannot just make him into the same guy we saw with Liam Neeson, and you also need to figure out a way to separate him somewhat from Batman.
