‘Reign’ season 2, episode 4 preview: First look at ‘The Lamb and the Slaughter’
The story on “Reign” season 2 has already navigated themselves into some particularly tricky places, and that is only going to continue on “The Lamb and the Slaughter,” which is the next new episode of the CW series airing on Thursday, October 23.
One of the major events that is coming up here will be the christening of Lola’s child with Francis, and we have to assume that being a very difficult thing for Mary to process. How in the world does she handle this child being so important in her life? We’re going to have to find out.
The only thing that could make matters worse for the current rulers is more interference when it comes to Lord Narcisse, who is shaping up as one of the best villains that we’ve come against. After all, he is operating on motivations of revenge, which is one of the most powerful ones out there.
Take a look at the synopsis for this episode below:
“When a shepherd is attacked by shadowy riders in the night, Bash (Torrance Coombs) and Lord Condé (Sean Teale) investigate what may be the unrest of angry spirits or the beginnings of a religious war. Mary (Adelaide Kane) examines her relationship with Lola (Anna Popplewell) in light of the upcoming christening, with Francis’ (Toby Regbo) illegitimate child serving as both a bond and an obstacle between them. Greer (Celina Sinden) takes control of her future when Leith (Jonathan Keltz) returns to court. Meanwhile, Lola feels something is awry when Lord Narcisse (guest star Craig Parker) introduces his familiar new bride. Megan Follows and Caitlin Stasey also star.”
