‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8, episode 6 preview: Sheldon and Raj’s expedition

Here it is -Some of our favorite episodes of “The Big Bang Theory” are the ones that pair off characters who don’t always get a whole lot of alone time, and with that in mind, we’re glad to see that one of the primary stories next week will be all about Sheldon and Raj. “The Expedition Approximation” may be one of the last episodes that the show will air on Monday night, and it may also be one of the most entertaining ones to boot.

Based on the synopsis below, Raj is going to be front and center as he has to deal with one of the worst situations possible: Having to be trapped with Sheldon in a very tiny place. This may be worse than what happened to those Terminus people on “The Walking  Dead” last night.

Meanwhile, Leonard and Penny are going to have some troubles of her own stemming from her new job:

“Sheldon and Raj test whether they could survive a dark-matter research expedition in a salt mine by simulating the conditions in a steam tunnel. Meanwhile, Leonard and Penny seek advice from Wolowitz and Bernadette after they fight about money.”

Let’s hope that there is some new comedy here, if for no other reason than that tonight felt largely like a return to form, at least for some of the guys. The story with the ladies, meanwhile, really was not altogether interesting in comparison to some of what they have done in the past.
