‘Doctor Who’ season 8, episode 9 preview: Can The Doctor, Clara find each other in ‘Flatline’?

Doctor Who -Next week, “Doctor Who” season 8 is going to air another new episode entitled “Flatline,” and based on some of the early buzz that we have around this one, one thing fells clear: The Doctor and Clara have one of their biggest struggles to date ahead.

Can the two parties find a way back to each other, especially within a world where they are forced to tackle new threats? This is going to be difficult, and Jenna Coleman’s character may be forced to become the hero and save the Doctor for a change. For further details, take a look at the BBC synopsis:

“Separated from the Doctor, Clara discovers a new menace from another dimension. But how do you hide when even the walls are no protection? With people to save and the Doctor trapped, Clara comes up against an enemy that exists beyond human perception.”

It is strange to think, but we are nearing the end of the road as far as this season of the BBC series goes. What’s our overall take so far? Uneven, but still strong. “Doctor Who” is one of those shows where the quality varies quite a bit from one episode to the next, and for the time being, we presume that we should just be pleased by the fact that we’ve gotten a few very good episodes in here along with a classic in “Listen.” We’ll just have to see what lies ahead now, but we predict big things!
