‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 5 spoilers: Jorge Garcia’s Jerry emphasized in first promo!

“Hawaii Five-0” will be returning to CBS later this month, but before that happens, the show wants to ensure that you get a glimpse at the new team, and its newest member in Jorge Garcia.

This is far from the first time that the former “Lost” star has appeared on the sow as Jerry, but moving forward, he will be a series regular! That is a big and very welcome change for the show, given that he is one of those few guys who can effectively do comedy and drama without missing a beat. There’s a reason Hurley was so beloved on “Lost,” and it wasn’t just because he was often comic relief. He also had a lot of soul and heart in there, as well, and proved to be one of the most important characters of the entire story by the end.

This promo really is more of the lighthearted variety, and if you are wanting to get any actual spoilers from it, you will probably be more disappointed than anything. Instead, it’s more of a count of all the important people on the team this year, with the real missing link being Catherine. While you can probably expect some closure with that story in time, it will not come right away. Meanwhile, there will probably be a new love interest for McGarrett that surfaces at some point before the story is over.
