‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5 summer finale spoilers: Ashley Benson and a new mission

What is happening on the “Pretty Little Liars” summer finale? Quite a few things, as it turns out, but one of them is going to involve costumes and a mission that seems perfect for a secret agent film.

Basically, you have Mona (Janel Parrish) and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) sneaking in to what we guess is Radley wearing nurses’ outfits, while at the same time Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) run point outside and give them instructions. Whatever they are doing here, it is obviously an effort to uncover who is really telling the truth, and if Alison Dilaruentis is out to screw them for good.

If this is a Radley operation, the one thing that we are currently very curious about is how in the world these two expect that they are going to be able to get into here without being recognized. Why not send in someone who is a stranger to the hospital rather than two people who have been there previously? Of course, there are also plenty of other possibilities here, and this is the sort of trouble you run into most of the time when you have characters featured in such a tiny sneak peek doing very specific things.

Whatever happens in this hour, it better make you feel satisfied for a long time. New episodes of the show are not going to start airing again until the holiday season, which is one of the longest breaks the show has ever really had since the first season.
