‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4 spoilers: Giancarlo Esposito’s return, Elsa among Comic-Con clips
The cast and producers of “Once Upon a Time” descended on San Diego Saturday for their annual Comic-Con panel, and they also brought at least a few surprises along with them. There were some video clips that played during the panel, and we’ll have them for you below when they are available.
For now, what we can tell you is this: Giancarlo Esposito should have at least a slightly larger role this fall than what he did the past two seasons. Regina releases him from his place in prison, and quickly tells him that there is something that she needs him to take care of. We already know that Sidney Glass is in love with her, and therefore will do almost anything that she says (which in this case may involve him trying to do away with Maid Marian, ironically so that she can get closer to Robin Hood again).
Meanwhile, the other clip was more centered on Anna and Elsa from “Frozen,” and it looks as thought he former is going to be getting ready for her wedding at some point during the season. Who’s the groom? You have to think Kristoff, given that this was her love at the end of the season. This doesn’t exactly answer why we are going to see Elsa in Storybrooke this coming season, but it is at least a nice opportunity to get a first look at what executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis want to do with the characters. Anticipation is high for them, especially when you consider all of the “Frozen” fans around the world who haven’t even watched the show.
