‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 3: What’s next for Kristin Kreuk, Jay Ryan, cast

The latest -Even though you are going to be waiting for quite a while (at least until early 2015, if not longer) for new episodes of “Beauty and the Beast,” The CW was at least kind enough to offer today what is a basic synopsis for the episodes ahead. This is coming from the writers room and the producers, and it follows up on what was the pseudo-cliffhanger at the end of the finale.

We imagine that this premise may have been one of the many reasons why the show is still on the air. It was likely pitched to the network at the time they were making the decision, and they liked this enough that, coupled with wanting to have another CBS TV show on the schedule, they picked up the third season. Take a look at it below:

As season three begins, Cat and Vincent are able to focus on their love, finally free from Muirfield, manhunts and beasts, However, that love will be tested as new and more dangerous threats await. When they learn that innocent victims are being used to test the boundaries of the impossible, Cat and Vincent will uncover a deeper conspiracy, one which Vincent can fight only by turning to the beast he carries within. But unleashing the beast will risk Vincent’s life – along with his and Cat’s love – as they struggle to build a normal life together.”

Now in case you start to really worry about Cat and Vincent’s future after seeing this, remember that an executive producer already told us that you will indeed end up seeing a whole lot more of Cat and Vincent together romantically this season. So even though there may be struggles when it comes to “building a normal life,” it probably will not come at the expense of the relationship itself … unless there is some curveball down the road that you don’t see coming.

Also, remember that you’ll see much more Heather now that Nicole Gale Anderson is a series regular. The question for that is just going to be how she will end up fitting in with the story.
