‘Elementary’ season 3: Lucy Liu to direct another episode

The latest -For all Lucy Liu fans, we’re sure that this will be tallied up as some very good news: She’s returning to the director’s chair again for another “Elementary” season 3 episode.

According to a report from TVLine, Liu is taking on the duties after a successful go at things back during the CBS show’s second season. We definitely consider this to be good news, if for no other reason than that this marks a great opportunity to get the voice of one of the show’s most-popular stars on the screen. Many other series employ this regularly; Jensen Ackles has helmed many episodes of “Supernatural,” and Paul Wesley recently took on such a duty for “The Vampire Diaries” season 5.

As for what this episode will revolve around, that is almost anyone’s guess right now. The writers and producers are doing everything in their power right now to ensure that there is some more good stuff to follow up the Mycroft story. We expect further guest stars, and there are also possibilities to adapt other elements of the Arthur Conan Doyle stories. The challenge, at least per our prediction, is going to be the show trying to find a way to do something new and exciting that “Sherlock” has not done at some point already.

“Elementary” is going to be starting a little bit later this season thanks solely to CBS acquiring Thursday Night Football. The one silver lining in here? That this means that you’ll have fewer repeats during the season thanks to the network making you wait so long for the premiere.
