‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 2 spoilers: Catherine’s major choice come finale

The latest -When the season 2 finale of “Beauty and the Beast” airs on The CW a little later this summer, Catherine is going to be looking down the horizon at what could be one of the more impossible choices that she has ever faced. Basically, she will have to figure out whether or not peace depends solely on destroying someone she loves. The analogy that we would use is that there’s almost a Harry Potter vs. Lord Voldemort decision on the way.

The upcoming season 2 finale for the CW series is going to be titled “Deja Vu,” which certainly suggests that Kristin Kreuk’s character will have found herself in a similar position before. Maybe this is so, since the official synopsis for this episode courtesy of The CW certainly seems to suggest it:

“Cat (Kristin Kreuk) searches for a way to thwart Gabe (Sendhil Ramamurthy) and finds her answer in an unexpected place: the journal of her ancestor, which makes Cat fear the only way to stop Gabe is by killing Vincent (Jay Ryan).”

We find it very difficult to imagine that Cat would ever consider killing off the man that she loves, mostly because these two are the fabric of the show and we cannot really have “Beauty and the Beast” without one of the two in the title. Still, we definitely expect this to be one of the most epic installments of the show to date, and one where lives are seriously going to be hanging in the balance.
