‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 2, episode 18 preview: Kristin Kreuk, Jay Ryan in ‘Cat and Mouse’

The latest -Did you enjoy the “Beauty and the Beast” episode Monday night? The show is back for the next several weeks, and in seven days we’ll have an episode entitled “Cat and Mouse” that will hopefully answer some further questions … including whether or not Vincent will truly be able to get away from half of New York City chasing him.

Now that we have seen the episode “Beast Is the New Black,” we like to think that the synopsis below has a little bit more context attached to it:

When Vincent (Jay Ryan) becomes the subject of a city-wide manhunt, he and Cat (Kristin Kreuk) try to stay below the radar. They find a surprising ally when the FBI approaches them about helping on an important case.”

So can we hope now that this “surprising ally” is Gabe? It may not be that surprising based on what happened tonight, but when this synopsis was released, it would have been. That was before anyone knew that he was going to be okay with Cat getting back with her ex, and for him seemingly not having a role in his arrest. With that being said, though, he has remained surprisingly calm both about her not wanting to be with him, and pretty much everything. He’s almost too calm, and the thought of that is somewhat ominous in its own right.

This is the one advantage to that long hiatus: We have plenty more season to come, and that leads to more surprises left and right.
