‘The Good Wife’ season 5, episode 19 preview: Colin Sweeeny returns!

Maybe as a way to help soften the blow of not having Josh Charles anymore as a part of the universe, “The Good Wife” is going now in a direction that involves bringing on board a number of familiar faces. Who is one of them? Think along the lines of an old “friend” by the name of Colin Sweeney.

The next new episode of the show is entitled “Tying the Knot,” and before we do anything else, head over to the link here to read the full synopsis:

“When Alicia pays a visit to longtime client Colin Sweeney, she finds herself in the unwanted role of witness when a body is discovered in his home. Meanwhile, Eli steps in when an unfortunate picture of Zach threatens to become a public relations nightmare for Peter.”

We cannot decide if the preview below is all sorts of funny (and possibly the funniest one for the show since there was the tragedy with Will), or just downright creepy. It does do weird things with something that looks like Google Glass that we never really expected to see, that much is for sure. While we are sure that the episode coming up for the show is going to be way more dramatic than this promo suggests, we do have to admit to being much more interested in seeing lighter material at this point. Haven’t we suffered enough in some regards as of late? There will be more shockers later, but we expect those closer to the finale.
