ABC’s ‘Resurrection’ episode 3 preview: First look at ‘Two Rivers’

Resurrection -Over the past two episodes, “Resurrection” has managed to attain a rather big following over on ABC, and with the promise of it being an “event series” much in the same way that “True Detective” was, who knows? Maybe ABC is going to be able to keep their audience around more so than many other new serialized shows are from week to week.

While we don’t know all of the ratings for tonight’s episode yet (and we won’t until the numbers come in tomorrow), we can at least give you a little bit ore of an impression as to what is coming up ahead. This episode is entitled “Two Rivers,” and there are some pretty significant surprises ahead when it comes to Jacob and Pastor Tom. Take a look at the full synopsis courtesy of ABC below:

“Exhuming Jacob’s grave only deepens the mystery of his return. Henry struggles to accept that Jacob is really the son he lost 30 years ago. Bellamy and Maggie search for a connection between Jacob and Caleb’s deaths and wonder if the local river may hold a clue. Their digging also unearths Caleb’s criminal past – he robbed the bank his daughter Elaine works at just days before his death. Pastor Tom’s life is changed forever by a shocking turn of events.”

The promo below for this episode does a great job of reminding you of the emotional moments featured in the past two episodes, but at the same time also telling you that this will be the episode that will make you “question everything.” After all, there has to be a pretty big reason why the impossible is suddenly possible.
