‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: See first ‘Trio’ photos with Darren Criss, Chord Overstreet

When we first heard that the title for the March 4 episode of “Glee” was going to be “Trio,” the first thing that immediately came into our brain was that this was going to be an episode about Rachel, Santana, and Kurt which made sense when you thought about it. For example, they are the only three McKinley High graduates to move over to the Big Apple, and they are also all at the center of a five-person band that could easily shift back to three.

But, the latest promotional photos from Fox suggest that we could very well be looking at a situation where Sam and Blaine are actually front and center alongside Tina. Why these three? The only thing that they all have in common is that they are getting ready to graduate finally.

While these photos may do something to convince you that graduation is near, it’s not quite there yet. That seems to be something a little bit more reserved for the upcoming 100th episode after that, at least if the show continues some of its own familiar patterns from the past of having Nationals take place prior to the time the students graduated. This is what happened the last time we were in this situation back during season 3.
