‘Bones’ season 9: Are there already plans for how the show should end?
If you like “Bones,” then you already have to start preparing yourself for one sad truth: Things are starting to wind down for the series. It’s had a heck of a good run, but there is only so long that a show can stay on the air and feel fresh. “Bones” has managed to maintain momentum better than almost anyone for the time that it has been around.
So is there already a plan for how things are going to come to a close? It definitely seems like it. Speaking to TV Guide, series creator Hart Hanson confirmed that he has known since the fourth season how he was going to say goodbye to the show, but has not told anyone about it. “Bones” has already been renewed for a tenth season, and Fox’s executives have already suggested that this will be the last go-around for the show.
Hanson also claimed that there could potentially be a conceptual episode of the show coming up, which could feature ghosts of some of the past victims and villains on the show popping up in front of Booth and Brennan. If this was done in the right way, it could be pretty darn amazing. Personally, it could be a heck of a lot cooler than the average clip show, which you typically see near the end of a show’s run. Who wouldn’t want a little bit of perspective?
