‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: Chace Crawford on role, Dianna Agron scenes
The 100th episode of “Glee” is going to very clearly be a big hour for the show, since it will feature a big reunion for so many of the show’s cast members. This will also mean another appearance from none other than “Gossip Girl” alum Chace Crawford, who is playing the part of a guy who has spent plenty of time with Quinn Fabray while at Yale. The two have formed some sort of relationship, and what the actor is saying now, it feels very much like he couldn’t be any more different from another man in the Quinn’s past in Puck.
Speaking about this part in an interview with MTV News, Crawford had the following to say about his part, and also working with showrunner Ryan Murphy and a number of cast members who he was already familiar with:
“I play, like, her douchey boyfriend from, like, the Northeast, so it’s more of a character, it was a good time. [I did], like, four or five scenes, we had a blast … It was great, it’s funny, I know like 80 percent of the cast already, [the show’s creator] Ryan Murphy calls up and is like, ‘come on,’ you know, and [my first question was] ‘do I have to sing?’ I’m like, ‘I’m not singing, I can’t sing.’ Anyway, I’m not singing.”
We don’t really see Crawford having a substantial role on the show by any means, but who knows? If nothing else, maybe this will be a great opportunity for him to get more exposure, and land some other notable TV roles in the future.
