ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3 spoilers: Is a new flash-forward coming up?
“Revenge” has been known for a number of things over the years, from surprising character moments to death and so much more. Therefore, you always expect them to come up with the next big way to surprise you, or get you talking in a way that you weren’t previously talking.
Typically with “Revenge,” flash-forwards have been the name of the game as a means to really tease something big coming later in the season. We’ve seen them every season at some point, and the big one earlier this season was the one featuring Emily Thorne getting shot. We know now that those bullets were fired by none other than Daniel Grayson, who has since made the turn into full-on evil mode courtesy of his attempts to try to destroy a woman that he has learned has been trying to destroy him.
So are we going to see a similar sort of flash-forward strategy introduced when the show return to ABC on Sunday, March 9? Not exactly. According to TVLine, there are no plans for the spring premiere to open with any sort of similar flash-forward showing anything terrible coming around the bend. Instead, the action is going to pick up almost immediately after everything that we have seen so far … and that includes that big “what in the world?” moment where you saw Emily wake up in bed with Conrad. Clearly there is something going on here with her mind, and that will be very interesting to see moving forward.

it would’ve been repetitive if they did another flash forward in the second half of the season so i’m glad that their just picking up right from where they left off
