ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6, episode 14 preview: Another look at Stana Katic, Beckett’s ‘dress’

By now, you may have already heard the bad news when it comes to “Castle’s” episode entitled “Dressed to Kill”: It is not going to be airing on ABC until Monday, February 3 after being originally scheduled this Monday. While there is no official reason given for this, our estimation is that the move is to ensure that a particularly strong episode of the show (one that was also sent out for review to some critics) gets  chance to be properly showcased in the February sweeps.

So while you wait, why not take a very different sort of look at the dress that Beckett is wearing? This new photo (first posted by TVLine) is more of a close-up than the initial photo that was released of it.

As for what else is important here, think along the lines of the expression that is on the face of Stana Katic’s character. Clearly, there is something pretty terrible happening for her to have this sort of sad expressed on her face while weeing something that should in theory make her one of the happiest brides-to-be out there. The easy guess is that it is something related to the case, which is going to plunge Beckett back into a world of high fashion that she first thought that she had abandoned many years ago. There is going to be some drama in “Dressed to Kill,” but with a title like that, you have to also imagine and anticipate that there is also going to be a little bit of fun.

For those of you wondering about a potential “Castle” wedding, the only real evidence that is out there right now is the show’s own suggestion that it is going to happen come September. Do we believe them? Sure, mostly because we really do not have anything else to go on at the moment. It is possible that the date could change, but we will have to wait and see how the story unfolds.
