How is this for an inspirational message for some of you out there who have tried out for a singing show, and failed? Sometimes, it’s an issue of just being on the right show at the right time, and being in front of people who believe in your talent versus those who don’t.
At the end of last week, the winners of “The X Factor” season 3 in Alex & Sierra made an interesting revelation on their shared Twitter account: They had tried out for another singing show before! Unfortunately for them at the time, it didn’t work out; but clearly, they are now where they are meant to be. Take a look at the tweet below:
“fun fact: we auditioned for american idol together but didn’t make TV & they disliked us haha… lesson learned: don’t give up! :)”
Alex & Sierra are now working hard on some new music, which may come out later this year; however, Simon Cowell has already said that he has no interest in rushing these two to get some music out before they are actually ready to do so. With that in mind, we have to breathe in a big sigh of relief, and celebrate that two talented people are actually going to have the time to be talented.
Another fun fact to share along with what Alex & Sierra already handed out: This season, we have a case of multiple contestants from “The X Factor” auditioning for “American Idol.” We have a former member of inTENsity from season 1 in the group, along with Jillian Jensen, who was sent home by Demi Lovato before the start of the live shows back in season 2. Therefore, there is no need to worry about one reality show ever being the end for you so long as you have talent and you’re going to work hard.
There is still no decision on the future of “The X Factor”; however, a new episode of “American Idol XIII” is going to air on Fox Wednesday night. Click here if you want to sign up for our CarterMatt Newsletter, and get some more stories worth singing about via email!
