‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3 spoilers: Death is coming for one series regular

We have a feeling that this “Once Upon a Time” scoop is probably going to cause some of you out there to feel a little less magical today. Why is that? It basically tells us that one of the show’s series regulars is going to die, and for good, before the end of season 3.

This news was confirmed by show bosses Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz in a new story from TVLine, and the only thing that the two would confirm is that the person is a series regular, and is not named Robert Carlyle. (Yes, this should be further validation that Rumpelstiltskin is probably going to be seen again at some point.

Here are the other characters who are eligible at the moment to be in danger.

1. Snow White – The one thing we’re mostly curious about here is if Ginnifer Goodwin’s real-life pregnancy will be implemented here.

2. Charming – He nearly almost died already; will he come close to dying again?

3. Henry – Speaking of which, there were just a few episodes where it looked like Henry was about to die.

4. Emma – This would be the big, devastating shocker to reinvigorate “Once Upon a Time” for many. However, she is the Savior, and that could be too depressing a move for many.

5. Belle – She hasn’t been in danger of dying, but it would be completely terrible for the writers to dispatch of this character before she and Rumpelstiltskin truly got together.

6. Neal – Given that he almost died on the show a matter of a dozen or so episodes ago, his inclusion here would be somewhat predictable.

7. Captain Hook – Another interesting candidate to possibly go, mostly because you could argue that his story was fulfilled when he redeemed himself in Neverland.

8. Regina – Given that Regina has yet to really meet her true love, this would be a death worth tearing up over.
